What permissions do we use? And why?
Location
We use anonymous location data to accurately display a user’s position to only the user. In multiplayer mode, the user’s position triggers the creation or joining of a player group, which is displayed to all users. The player group’s diameter is 40 meters and each user’s exact location within the player group is not transmitted. This is necessary to provide the user with the location of player groups with the goal of social interaction. Close proximity synchronizes device cadence.
Network and Wifi
We use anonymous network and wifi connectivity data to determine whether the device is connected to the internet. This is necessary to provide a seamless transition from singleplayer to multiplayer modes.
Flashlight
We use the flashlight to communicate cadence information to the user and other users within visual proximity. This is just for a visual effect and not required for the user to properly run the app.

- We don’t require any personal information.
- We send anonymous player group location data to other users of the app via multiplayer networking, but – once that data is communicated – it is deleted and never stored.
- We read anonymous network and wifi connectivity data to determine network connectivity, but that data is never stored.
